As many as 100 people are trapped in the rubble of a building that collapsed Saturday in the quake-ravaged city of Concepcion, the city's mayor told Reuters.
Concepcion's mayor Jacqueline van Rysselberghe said on national television that "time is of the essence to save the people" stuck in a 14-story building and criticized the government's slow response in the aftermath of Saturday's 8.8-magnitude quake.

Haiti Update
Update on Haiti from Scotty Slaydon
To say that the response from our UPCI churches to the Haiti disaster has been incredible would be an understatement.

The Grandquists travel to Malta
Malta
We really cannot say all that we felt or experienced as we flew into the beautiful, gothic Island of Malta, Italy.
It is legendary with it's rugged cliffs and churning coast line. The splendid ancient architecture calls for the respect of anyone who loves the old world. Beyond these breath taking descriptions, we found the heart of our dear missionaries and friends the Kirby Parkers filled with faith and hope for the people of Malta.
We took a team of powerful inspirational young people with us.
They poured themseves out in every church service, and in outreach on the streets. We saw a great move of the Spirit, several were filled with the Holy Ghost experience. It impacted the work in a positive lasting way, and it changed us also... Thank God for people who love the Work of God, who willingly give and willing go!

The Apostolic Way
************************************************************
The Apostolic Way
We, the body of Christ, have a moral and spiritual responsibility to become the most powerful, prolific and dynamic apostolic church in the world.
We will accomplish this as each local assembly, pastor, church leader, and saint of God becomes more influential, inspired, anointed, and more capable than anyone else at defining, and then serving the ‘…CAUSE greater than our own.’
