June 2011Hello from the Rhoads family in Suriname. Below are a few activities from the month of June.
June 1
The largest Open Door Group divided, bringing the total to five groups now meeting in Paramaribo.
June 3-4
Capital city church youth retreat, with twenty-seven youth and young adults present.
June 8
One person received the gift of the Holy Ghost in the newest Open Door Group.
June 12
Pentecost Sunday service in Paramaribo. One person filled with the Holy Ghost and person baptized.
June 24
Bible study in one of Suriname's prisons.
June 25
Home Bible study conducted in a new village.
June 26
Brother Edwards, vice-president of the United Pentecostal Church of Suriname, ministered in the capital city church.
